Syrt (“we,” “our,” or “us”) helps users estimate biological age, track daily lifestyle signals, connect Apple Health, and receive educational longevity coaching. This Privacy Policy explains what information Syrt uses, why it is used, and what choices you have.

Information You Provide

Syrt may ask for information you choose to enter, including year of birth, sex assigned at birth, height, weight, units, selected medical conditions you choose to disclose, lifestyle habits, alcohol and nicotine patterns, sleep quality, training habits, daily check-in answers, Coach messages, and support messages. This information is collected when you type it into onboarding, check-ins, Coach, Settings, or support.

Apple Health Data

All users may choose to connect Apple Health. If you grant permission, Syrt may read selected health signals such as steps, sleep duration, workouts, and resting heart rate to improve biological age estimates, daily-delta explanations, and coaching context. You can manage or revoke Apple Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings or the Health app.

Generated App Data

Syrt generates biological age estimates, biological-age trends, daily-delta explanations, coaching memory summaries, daily plans, and app reliability records from the information you provide and the Apple Health signals you permit.

How Syrt Uses Your Information

We use your information to estimate biological age and biological age changes over time, calculate daily movement in biological age from check-ins and Apple Health signals, explain which habits or health signals likely moved today’s estimate, generate daily plans, Coach responses, and educational recommendations, manage account continuity, subscription access, support, and purchase status, and improve reliability, safety, abuse prevention, and user experience.

Local Storage and Server Processing

Syrt is designed to minimize unnecessary data collection. Core profile, check-in, and biological age data may be stored on your device. Features that require server processing, such as account deletion and AI coaching, send only the information needed for that feature. We do not sell your personal health information.

AI Coaching and OpenAI

Syrt uses OpenAI as an AI processing provider for Coach. Before your first Coach request, Syrt asks for permission to send selected Coach data to Syrt’s secure backend and OpenAI. This may include your Coach message, compact profile summary such as age range or year of birth, sex at birth, height and weight if provided, units, selected onboarding answers, biological age estimate and recent trend, recent check-in answers, coaching memory summary, and selected Apple Health-derived metrics only if you connected Apple Health and granted permissions, such as steps, sleep, workouts, and resting heart rate.

The purpose is to generate educational longevity coaching and daily plans. Syrt does not send payment card details, your Apple ID password, the raw Apple Health database, or full device history for Coach. You can avoid AI processing by not using Coach, choosing Not now on the consent screen, or resetting AI Coach consent in Settings. The Coach is designed to avoid diagnosis, treatment instructions, or emergency medical guidance.

Sign in with Apple

If you use Sign in with Apple, Syrt may receive an Apple-provided user identifier and, only if you choose to share it, your name or email address. We use this for identity, account continuity, and app access.

Subscriptions and Payments

Syrt uses RevenueCat and Apple’s in-app purchase system to manage subscriptions. These providers process purchase status and subscription events. Syrt does not receive or store your full payment card details.

Share Cards

If you create a share card, Syrt generates an image from the information shown on that card. Sharing is optional and controlled by you through your device’s share sheet.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by Syrt, including secure platform storage where appropriate. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete local app data through Syrt settings or by deleting the app. Some subscription, support, analytics, or legally required records may be retained by Apple, RevenueCat, or us for operational, fraud prevention, legal, or accounting purposes.

Third-Party Services

Syrt may use third-party services for subscriptions, server hosting, Apple Health integration, support, reliability, safety, abuse prevention, and AI processing. OpenAI processes selected Coach messages and app context only when you allow AI Coach processing and use Coach. These services process information according to their own privacy policies and only for the purposes needed to operate Syrt.

Your Choices

You can choose what information to enter, disconnect Apple Health permissions, decline or reset AI Coach processing consent, avoid Coach, cancel subscriptions through Apple, delete local app data, and contact us with privacy questions or deletion requests.

Children’s Privacy

Syrt is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Syrt changes. The updated version will be posted in the app with a new last-updated date.
