Terms of Use

Welcome to Syrt. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Syrt mobile application, including biological age estimates, Apple Health-connected insights, daily check-ins, premium features, share cards, and AI coaching.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Syrt, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Syrt. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement and can enter into these Terms.

3. Educational Use; Not Medical Advice

Syrt provides estimates, educational information, habit tracking, and coaching support. Syrt is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional. Biological age estimates and daily-delta explanations are modeled estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of Syrt. If you have a medical concern, symptoms, medication questions, or an emergency, contact a qualified clinician or emergency services.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, for deciding whether to connect Apple Health, for safeguarding your device, and for using Syrt in a lawful and reasonable way. You should use your judgment before changing health, diet, sleep, exercise, alcohol, nicotine, supplement, or medical routines.

5. Apple Health

Syrt may read Apple Health data only with your permission. Apple Health data is used to improve estimates, daily explanations, and coaching context. You can change permissions at any time in iOS Settings or the Health app.

6. AI Coaching

Syrt’s AI coach is for educational lifestyle support only. AI responses can be incomplete, incorrect, or not appropriate for your circumstances. You should not rely on AI coaching for medical decisions, medication guidance, emergency advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Syrt may offer free and premium features. Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple’s in-app purchase system and may be managed by RevenueCat. Prices, trial availability, and feature access may change over time. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

8. Account, Access, and Data

Syrt may use Sign in with Apple and local or server-side processing to provide features. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and account. Deleting the app or local data may remove app history from your device.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Syrt for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes, reverse engineer, copy, resell, or exploit the app or its content except as permitted by law, attempt to bypass subscriptions, rate limits, security, or access controls, use Syrt to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment to others, or upload or submit content that is illegal, abusive, infringing, or malicious.

10. Intellectual Property

Syrt, including its design, software, content, models, copy, trademarks, and features, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use Syrt for its intended purpose.

11. Third-Party Services

Syrt may rely on third-party services such as Apple, RevenueCat, analytics, hosting, crash reporting, and AI processing providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and policies.

12. Changes to Syrt

We may add, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update models, scoring logic, content, premium benefits, and pricing.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Syrt is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that Syrt will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or accurate, or that any biological age estimate, daily driver, or coaching response will match your actual health status.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, health outcomes, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of Syrt.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Syrt if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, create risk for other users or our systems, or if we discontinue the service.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Syrt after updated Terms are posted means you accept the changes.
